For instance "Chocolate Pots de Creme" are luscious individual ramekins of chocolate custard, perfect for a dinner party desert. There are fancy versions of your favorite cakes and candies, and also lovely, down-home versions of favorite cookies, like gingersnaps (perfect for ice cream sandwiches!).

Do you have a last minute vegetarian or vegan guest for the holidays? Welcome him or her with wholesome dishes like portobello "steak" fajitas, or get adventurous with marinated balsamic, maple and garlic tempeh. "The Oh She Glows Cookbook," from the writer of the blog of the same name, features these yummy recipes and more.  Music by the Hibbing City Band in the reference area at 6:15 pm.

Children’s activities from 6:15-7:30 pm

 Free children’s book give away in the auditorium.

 Visits with Santa in the auditorium.

 Decorate gingerbread cookies in the children’s room to take home
