Birds of Prey

The Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center visited the library on Thursday, June 17, to show off some of their raptor birds.  140 audience members were treated to a look at a Great Horned Owl, Peregrine Falcon and Saw Whet Owl.  Some kids even got to pet a chicken!

Special thanks goes out to the Friends of the Library and Dawn at the Virginia Public Library for help in bring this great program to the library.
