Reginald Hill, crime author, is best known for his series featuring Superintendent Andrew Dalziel and Sergeant Peter Pascoe, a pair of police inspectors in Yorkshire, England which was also made into a television series on BBC. First book in the series, A Clubbable Woman, was written in 1970. Twenty-five books in the Dalziel and Pascoe series as well as numerous other novels made Reginal Hill a popular author.
