Action Painting

Kids weren't just making a mess last Thursday! They were learning about the art style of Jackson Pollock by happily tossing, spraying and dabbling paint on large canvasses spread out on the library lawn. Two entire sheets were used to catch paint filled balloons, paint from spray bottles, and sponges soaked with paint. One of the canvasses will be hung in the children's room while the other will be cut up and given to the participants. Our special thanks and gratitude to Becca Sauer, who ran a great program!
Don't forget the puppet shows, this Thursday, July 2 at 10am and 1:30pm.
