One of the "History Players" from the Minnesota Historical Society will be at the Hibbing Public Library on Thursday, April 12th at 1:30 p.m.
Join us and hear about the life of Virginia Mae Hope, a World War II pilot. Virginia will talk about her childhood during the Great Depression, her service as an Airforce Pilot, and the impact of Pearl Harbor on the nation. She witnessed and lived through great changes in the roles of women during the war.
The program is appropriate for school-age children and up. The project was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
