The largest lake in the world has its own day of recognition called Lake Superior Day. This year it will be celebrated on Sunday, July 18th. The program hopes to bring attention to the lake and encourages people to take action and help protect or restore one of the world’s greatest freshwater lakes.

Stop at the display at the library, pick up more information on Lake Superior Day and check out some of our books about the lake and its history. For more information on Lake Superior day visit - www.superiorforum.org.
