Harry Bosch is back working the twenty-year-old murder of
Anneke Jespersen, a Danish photo-journalist shot and killed while working a
story during the Los Angeles 1992 riots. Bosch, specifically asked for the
Jespersen murder case since the case started with him at the crime scene. He
felt the case had been neglected and remained unsolved because of the riots and
not he wanted another chance at solving the murder.
