If you want to check out the Louvre but can't travel go to the new English version of the Musee du Lovre's online collection database. The English version was launched this summer.
It is interactive and allows visitors to access information on 22,000 artworks, view high-resolution images of masterpieces, and locate exhibited works and galleries.
The new database is accessible free-of-charge via the Louvre’s website, www.louvre.fr, which receives more than 10 millions visitors a year.
