Duluth Summer OperaFest

The library has a limited number of free tickets to the first annual Duluth Summer OperaFest, “A Night at the Opera,” and “Opera Film Festival”.
 
“A Night at the Opera” will be at Marshall School’s Fregeau Auditorium in Duluth on August 16th at 7:30 p.m. Regular prices are $30 per adult and $15 per youth/student. There will also be a pre-concert reception at 6:30 p.m. provided by Minnesota Public Radio with special Guest host and MPR radio personality, Steve Staruch.
 
The “Opera Film Festival” will be in Duluth at Zinema 2 on August 17 -19.  Films include Amadeus, La Traviata, The Magic Flute, The Life of Maria Callas, and A Night at the Opera. Regular price is $10 per film.
 
Patrons who check out free tickets at the library must call to reserve their seats prior to the event using the phone number listed on the tickets. Reservations are accepted on a first called, first served basis. Your ticket will not be valid without a pre-phoned reservation. Seating for all events is limited.
