Photo Contest for Teens

All area teens can post their photographs on the library's Facebook page.  Winning photographs will be based on how many like you receive.  All pictures mus tie in with the "Own the Night" teen reading program theme.

How to do it:

• Stop in at the library and sign a waiver.
• Take a photo that has a "night" theme.  Pictures may be black and white, sepia, or full color.  Both traditional photography or digitally manipulated images will be accepted.
• One person can enter up to five photographs.
• Include your first and last name, and email address with each entry.
• Entries must be the newly created original work of entrant, must not infringe upon third-party rights, and cannot violate any copyright laws or existing trademarks.
• The photograph cannot have unintelligible wording, obscene, or offensive language or imagery.
• The library reserves the right to remove any photographs that do not adhere to these guidelines.
• Post your image on the Library's facebook page.
• Winners will be judged by how many likes you receive.
• Winners  will be announced on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the library and on Facebook.
• Winners will receive gift cards from area businesses.
