CLIMB Theater at the Library

The library will kick off the summer with a special program by CLIMB Theater.  On Monday, June 4th at 3:30 p.m. join us for "The Tortoise and Hare".

"Slow Sal had a BIG DREAM. She wanted to beat Speedy the
Hare in a race. It was the only way she’d ever get him to stop
his constant, hurtful teasing. But, how could she win? She was
just plain slow. No matter how hard she wished or trained,
she was still slow. Then it came to her. Instead of worrying
about what she wasn’t, she would build on what she was.
Slow Sal was steady. She was focused and she was
determined. If she just kept putting one foot in front of the
other; If she didn’t stop for anything and never lost sight of her
BIG DREAM, maybe then she could win. And, of course, she
did!"

Remember to stop by the front desk and sign up for the "Dream Big! Read!" reading program and pick up a flyer describing all of the summer's great programs.
